This is a picture of Lawrence Hunters Sears number 1835. Lawrence is missing the original engine for this car and has rigged a new engine to propell the car until an original engine can be found. This is a picture of the Sears in the Museum of Automobiles, Petit Jean Mountain, Morrilton, Arkansas. It is Sears number 1660 and has no Model Number stamped into the frame with the serial number. It is in the configuration of a Model J, though the letter J is not present. Could it be that this car was restored as a Model J, or that this car came from the factory as an early Model J.
